White Chocolate Cranberry Cookies

Being stuck in a “cookie rut” is never fun. The usual treats weren’t sounding too exciting, so today I made White Chocolate Cranberry Cookies from Sally’s Baking Addiction. They turned out very nice even though I broke the recipe’s rules a bit. For example, these cookies call for dark brown sugar, but I used regular brown sugar instead. Sally also says to chill the dough which I didn’t do either (me being an impatient baker).  They are a very sweet cookie, although not too sweet, and may appear very gooey when first pulled from the oven, however letting them sit on the tray for a few minutes helps considerably.

These cookies are very easy and straightforward to make, and are very tasty. You can find the recipe here.

I almost forgot, I had a cup of plain black tea (with milk and sugar) which washed it down nicely. :)
